I never thought I would be in the ‘miracle’ business. I certainly never thought I would ever be talking about miracles, much less applying that to business and life. However, after surviving a very serious accident in 1990, I began to see and experience life very differently.

I grew up in a relatively normal, traditional household. I was encouraged to be a good student, go to college, well…you probably get where I’m going. I was fortunate to get into management training and consulting very early in my career. I was doing well in my career, however, I was frustrated with the amount of time I was working. And, because I was traveling and working so much, I was also missing being at home with my family, my son being very young.

And everything came to a screeching halt in 1990. I was very sick, but still determined to fly from TX to LA to work with a Fortune 100 company. Before my flight, I went outside the airport to get some fresh air. Unfortunately, I passed out, fell over a ledge, and fell approximately 25 feet. I fractured my back, shattered my right leg. I had multiple surgeries and didn’t know if I would walk again, for almost 11 months (which I am able to walk). I was also later diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury, which took a very long time to recover from. If that was not enough, around the fourth week still in the hospital, my former husband came, suitcases packed, saying he no longer wished to be married. Although I take full responsibility for my part that contributed to that decision, the timing was not exactly optimal. And if that was not enough, when we went to court (I failed to mention he was an attorney), he was awarded full custody of our son, who was only 4 at the time.

So my accident became a major wake up call. EVERYTHING in my life had changed. And, given all the circumstances, it became a time for me to begin to look at my life, what mattered most and what I was going to begin to do differently.

And I began to see SO many miracles in my life. Miracle #1: I survived that fall. Miracle #2: My doctors were not sure if they could save my leg. They did. And there are so many other miracles that followed.

I was completely devastated. I truly did not know how I was going to dig out that hole.

I learned how to meditate. I had a lot of healing that was needed. I also needed to get more in alignment with what really mattered to me. What was going to be different with how I lived my life. How I was going to offer and conduct my business. Everything in my life was up for review.

At the time I was learning how to meditate, quieting my mind was a complete oxymoron. Yet, I could feel at the core of me, something was wanting to be birthed. So I continued with my efforts.

And, eventually, the birthing process began.

I am now more than delighted that I can now appreciate how miraculous MY life is. And I have now been supporting others in creating their miraculous businesses and life. Through this journey I was blessed to receive and cultivate my healing gifts and transformational system, The Miraculous Living Method. I did not have these gifts and abilities before my accident, but I am now. It took a while to adjust and understand what was happening to me. It was very different from the way I had previously been living. But today I am beyond grateful to have been blessed with such an extraordinary gift. Another miracle.

So today I am able to offer my clients sound business advice, but also find any internal interferences, in your mind and emotions, and assist you to get into full alignment with your mission. It’s pretty sweet when that happens!

So how is it I can declare your business is a miracle? Well, simply…I know it is!

  1. Your business is a miracle because YOU are a miracle. Have you ever thought about that before? There is only ONE of you in the entire universe. Like your thumbprint, there is no other person exactly like you. You were born with a unique set of skills, like no other. And you were encoded with a journey that would allow you to grow, evolve and contribute. To be able to make YOUR special mark.
  2. Only YOU can create your business. This is your heart, your soul, guiding you to experience all that is possible. You had the idea, the inspiration, the drive. And because you have actually birthed your business, that too is a miracle. The fruits of your labor continue to be the miracles of your efforts. That doesn’t mean that others are not involved. Nothing further from the truth. However, your are the one guiding and steering this ship. YOUR vision created your mission. And your mission has become the miracle for others. Your miracle continues to grow, supporting those who can most benefit from your product or service. And this becomes a ripple effect of continuous miracles!
  3. Even though we have entered unprecedented times, dealing with COVID-19 and its aftermath, I still believe, in every fiber of my being, that this period of time is possibly providing you with an even greater opportunity. What might that be for you? Have you already felt the pulls of your heart to make some shifts?
  4. This is an excellent time to spend a little time in quiet. Journal your thoughts, your feelings, your ideas. You can also get some big sheets of paper and begin coloring. Coloring for clarity? Yes! Coloring, creating doodles or designs, even drawing pictures, begins to open your heart more, allowing you to be more receptive to ideas and intuitive guidance. It’s also a pathway to unlock your creative juices and spark your inspiration.
  5. You can create a Mind Map Business Plan. If you are not familiar with mind mapping, Google it. You’ll find instructions on what you can do. The idea is to let your intuitive and creative juices flow. If you are wanting more clarity about your business, you can mind map for clarity. Once you have clarity, you can play with the mind mapping process to begin creating your business plan. I think you will be amazed what comes out of those crayons or markers. At the very least, this process provides you with greater clarity and the next steps that would be best for you to take.
  6. Now for the next part to allow miracles to flow: ACTION. But not just any action. You want to take inspired action. And by inspired action, I want you to follow the pulls on your heart, as opposed to just your mind. As beneficial as many business strategies and practices are, your business does not fit into a ‘one size fits all’ category. Your business is unique and you need to take the steps that you genuinely feel are in your business’ best interest.

I know there have been times in my business that I followed, to the letter, what a business mentor had suggested. Some times they worked, sometimes they did not.

But when I began trusting my intuition, that’s when I really started seeing greater results. IF ONLY I had learned that many years earlier, I could have saved myself a lot of time, a lot of trial and error, and a lot of money. I still implement business practices I have learned over the years. But I don’t always follow them the way I was initially told. I’m a ‘do what works’ kind of person.

So it’s ultimately up to you to decide what you believe is going to be BEST for your business. It’s going to be up to you to decide how you want to see your business grow. And it’s up to you to dial up your belief and determination to materialize what you know, deep in your gut, what your business can and will become!

It’s up to you to declare the MIRACLE THAT IS YOUR BUSINESS.
