I have to admit…I’m over-the-moon happy that next week I’ll be launching my new book, The Miracle That Is Your Life.  I made the decision to finally get a book written, created a plan (with the help of the brilliant Robbin Simons of Crescendo Publishing) and got it done.In addition to Robbin’s guidance, it was my DECISION to make this happen, no matter what, that made the difference.  I created a schedule, and I stuck to it.  I made writing appointments with myself, since I was only able to work on this project part-time.  And with focus and determination,
I did it.  In fact, I wrote my book in a little less than 5 weeks.  And if I told you how many times I have previously attempted to write a book, you would appreciate even more what an amazing accomplishment this was for me.

And I look forward to offering you the book next week!  Be on the lookout, since I’ll have a very special offer for you.

So, although I’m very proud of myself and excited to launch my book, I also got to see the power of making a decision, creating a plan, and being determined to execute and stick with the plan.

Is there something that you have been meaning to do, but it keeps being pushed away?  Have you, for example, wanted to get a more regular workout routine into your schedule?  I personally find when I’m working out regularly, the rest of life takes care of itself so much more easily.  In fact, I happened to injure my leg a few weeks ago.  I would give it a rest, but would start using my leg too much, too soon, and kept re-injuring it.  So this time, I’m going to start out a little slower and treat my leg with some tender, loving kindness.

For a while, weather permitting, I’ll take some time out and go to the pool.  I’ll begin doing some more weight exercises, using lighter weights. And I also just started to practice some yoga, which my body seems to really love.So I have made a decision and created a plan.  And I now have the determination, since it has not been fun NOT exercising.  I simply don’t feel as good, as energetic, and it affects my productivity.  And, if that weren’t enough, I also notice that I am more tempted to eat foods that do not support me, as well.  Isn’t that interesting?

What about you?Is there something that you can put into your schedule that can make the difference in your life?  Is there something that has been calling out for your attention that you have been ignoring?  Is there a way for you to work it in your schedule?

For me, I used to work out first thing in the morning.  But that doesn’t work for me with my current schedule.  However, I found that if I took a break either late morning or noon, it worked out really well.  I was able to get a quick and even more effective workout in.  And then I was ready to face my afternoon and evening with even more energy and focus.

So, I encourage you to take a closer look at something YOU want to put on your plate.  Make a plan…and take that first step.  Action is really THE BEST.  It’s just a bit harder to take that first step.  But allow your determination to kick in and make it easier!  I promise, it will feel really great.

Enjoy!
